Press release from the Metropolitan Police Department: February 14, 2022 Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Pickpocket) offense that occurred on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the 3000 block of K Street, Northwest. At approximately 3:56 pm, the suspect approached the victim from behind at the listed location. The suspect took property from the victim's bag and then fled the scene. Anyone who can identify this individual or has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
