RPG night is a night for all different types of RPG's here at the Dungeon! Greetings Brave Adventures! We have some exciting news to share with you all! Starting on February 2nd the Dungeon will be hosting two drop in/drop out D&D 5E mini campaign's. These games will last 6 weeks and run every Wednesday, if you are not able to make it each week that is fine as well. But if you like to stay with the same party make sure you get your ticket's early. Table 1 (DM Kevin): Greeting travelers, my name is Mortera, a merchant of the Imperial Court. I am seeking brave and strong adventures who will help me cross the Twisting Sands. A dangerous and brutal landscape that scares the Eastern Border of the Empire. While the journey will be hard and treacherous I promise great reward and the riches of the lands beyond. Table 2 (DM Joe): “Why does it always have to be Necromancers?” The land of Indarium is in need of all manner of assistance - researchers, warriors, spellcasters, you name it! Some would say a nation of city-states in a nearly inhospitable region is doomed to failure, but that hasn't stopped the people of this continent from continuing their research on the local wildlife and attempts to punch through the deathly mountain pass to the north. But recent incidents of missing persons and new, unusual monstrosities attacking citizens has raised concern among the commonwealth, leading to a unified request for aid from people all around the world. Table 3 (Random System one shots) Like in previous weeks, different GM's will be running random systems every week to introduce you to new and exciting table top RPG's that are here at the Dungeon. The system will be announced early each week over on our Facebook and Discord so keep an eye out. Table 4 (Homebrew D&D 5E with DM Nam) Description: Join an exclusive playtest for the Breakthrough Draft System, a supplement for Dungeons and Dragons 5e that focuses on changing character creation and progression (among other things). This system throws classes, races, and leveling out the window in favor of small, and slightly random improvements to your character that happen several times per session. Your character will start as a completely blank slate that becomes fleshed out by systems built to determine their physical and mental natures. Players will need to bring a writing utensil, standard dungeons and dragons dice, and if possible a laptop or tablet (whichever is smaller). This game is meant for players that already enjoy D&D 5E but are looking for something a bit different and random. Intro: You are an employee of the corporation, nameless, faceless, and without a past. For as long as you can remember everyday is the same. You wake, eat your morning nutrient bar, dig ditches while your supervisor yells at you, eat your evening nutrient bar, expel waste, sleep for six hours, then wake up to do it all again. You don’t mind because it’s all you’ve ever known and all you will ever know, until one day you and a few other employees are tasked with leaving your home to handle a new task. Will these new experiences change you? Will you uncover your past? Will you rediscover talents hidden in your past and create new ones through your journey?
