Description
NORTHPORT, NY — Allie and Coco, a pair of 4-month-old tabby sisters, were named the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.
"Allie and Coco were found huddled together outside all by themselves," Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue, said.
Another volunteer with the NCRA found the duo and took them to safety and fostered them, according to Wild.
"These two little girls are very special and have adorable personalities," Wild said. "Coco is very sweet and loves to cuddle and be held. She loves to explore and play with anyone who will give her attention. She makes the cutest chirping sound, to let you know she is happy and content as she purrs softly."
Her sister, Allie, is fun and loving. She has lots of playful energy, according to Wild.
"She enjoys her toys and has become an expert on sneak attacks on Coco," Wild said. "She loves her treats and will roll on her back and stretch for belly rubs."
Both girls are vocal and will ask for attention and snuggles, according to Wild.
"They adore each other as much as they love people, and so we hope to keep these girls together forever," she said. "If you were considering adding some furry friends to your family, these two girls would be a perfect addition. We know they will provide tons of entertainment and smiles all while melting your heart."
Allie and Coco are spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
If you are interested in meeting Allie and Coco, you can head to the Northport Cat Rescue Association website and fill out an application to let them know you would like to meet them or any of the other kittens and cats. You can also call NCRA at 631-606-2631 or email it at [email protected].
