MILFORD, MA — The slate of candidates for Milford's 2022 election is just about final after the filing deadline passed on Tuesday.
There are 23 candidates running for office in 2022, including competitive races for seats on the School Committee, Park Commission and Sewer Commission. Candidates had until the close of business on Tuesday to submit paperwork to run. Each candidate has until March 3 to withdraw, which means the list below could change after that date.
The most competitive race this year is for two seats on the School Committee. Four candidates have filed to run, including an incumbent and a member who was appointed to finish a term in 2021.
There are several incumbents who are not running for reelection this year including Board of Assessors member Joseph Arcudi (he's also not running for reelection as a constable), Park Commissioner Paul Pellegrini and Planning Board member John Cook.
