FRANKLIN, WI — There were several car break-in attempts over the weekend in Franklin, according to the Franklin Police Department.
The agency was made aware of the attempts made by suspects in a black SUV, police announced on Facebook. The attempted break-ins occurred in an area between 76th Street and 68th Street, and between Rawson and Drexel Avenues, police said.
The Franklin Police Department at one point found the suspect car, which turned out to be reported stolen, but a pursuit of the vehicle was ended because of speed, police said.
The department asked anyone with information or video on the break-in attempts to contact Community Resource Officer Gary Wallace at [email protected] or 414-858-2622
Alongside the news of the break-in attempts, police reminded everyone to keep their vehicles locked and any valuables out of sight.
