STRATFORD, CT — Officials have announced the 2022 Celebrate Stratford series, which will include traditional events as well as revitalized and expanded festivities. The Stratford Birding Festival, a once-popular event, is returning, and the treasured Summer Concert Series will also resume, now with opening acts featuring Stratford's local talent, officials said in a news release. Organizers announce the following lineup, which takes place throughout the year, subject to state and local guidelines: The Shakespeare Market: The first and third Sundays of every monthRestaurant Week: April 24 - April 30Main Street Festival: June 4Summer Concert Series: Tues/ Thurs June 21 - August 30Fireworks: June 30th (rain date July 5)Blues on the Beach: July 23Latin Music Festival: September 18 (rain date September 25)Stratford Birding Festival: September 24The Great Pumpkin Festival: October 15Holiday Tree Lighting: December 1Holiday Menorah Lighting: December 19 "I am pleased to see the enhancements to some of the Celebrate Stratford festivals as we continue with the popular traditions in many of our events," Stratford Mayor Laura R.
