Dunes Properties of Charleston is looking for a full-time maintenance tech to service our Folly Beach and Isle of Palms vacation rentals. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits and PTO. Must have reliable transportation, tools, and flexibility as the job will require working weekends and holidays. Requirements include Have basic skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, appliances, HVAC, pool, cable TV and internet troubleshooting. Have reliable transportation and tools. Having a truck or SUV is a plus Able to work weekends and some holidays Responsibilities include Pre-arrival service - checking all exterior lights; cleaning grill; straightening outdoor furniture; blowing off decks; cleaning exterior windows; picking up yard debris Perform preventive maintenance - snake/clean all drains Bleach jacuzzi tub jets Shop vac dryer vents Clean fridge coils and grates Clean wine cooler/stand alone ice maker coils and grates Clean any homes that have stainless steel cables (railings) Check all exterior lights, stair risers and landscape lights - replace as needed Lubricate all door locks and garage door tracks Vacuum HVAC drain lines Check caulk in all bathrooms and kitchen sink - replace if needed Touch up rental signs if needed Check all private boardwalks and outdoor showers for nail pops and wood rot Perform annual safety inspections Respond to guest and owner service calls in a professional and timely manner. Accurately record description, time and materials used to complete tasks Professionally interact with home owners and guests if they are present when performing tasks
