Join us at the Woodbridge Library March 10 at 7PM as Michael Norris uses art and archeology to examine the history of Saint Patrick's Day.
Join us at the Woodbridge Main Library March 10 at 7PM as Michael Norris uses art and archeology to examine ancient Britain, which was ruled by Rome for centuries. He’ll consider the autobiography and letters of its most famous citizen, a Roman Briton named Patrick, and the fifth-century Ireland he knew as a slave and as a missionary.

Mike got his BA in classics from the University of California at San Diego and his MA in classics and Ph.D. in art history at the University of California at Santa Barbara. He spent twenty years at the Cloisters Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and has lectured on trips all over the world. He lives in Teaneck, New Jersey.
This is a hybrid event! This event will take place in-person at the Woodbridge Main Library. If you do not feel comfortable attending the event in-person we will also be streaming the event via Zoom.
