Chill began playing piano at 6 years old and uses the instrument as the foundation from which his creativity flows. Whether it’s creating, collaborating, learning, teaching, or performing, Chill brings a one of a kind energy and presence to the work he’s involved in. After studying music in college, he has held director positions with multiple Non Profits spanning children’s music education, justice and civil rights movement work, praise and worship music, and more. In addition, he has been able to share his music on stages around the world, spanning over 7,500 miles. Through these experiences, Chill has developed a love for helping others evolve and improve on their personal journey as he continues to learn how to do the same. From records like “PB&J” to “Truth’s Table,” Chill’s eclectic, genre bending approach to music welcomes people from all walks of life into his world. -------------------------------------------------------------------- GORDON INMAN Gordon Inman is a clarinetist, saxophonist, singer, and music instructor in the Chattanooga area. He has a distinct method of adding a freshness and energy to the mix. In recent years, John has worked with many of Chattanooga's top musicians, and is currently a touring member of the acclaimed Chattanooga band Call Me Spinster. In addition, he once won twenty dollars in a beat battle. At age 27, Given is excited and hopeful about the opportunity he sees for music in Chattanooga. He has found a community filled with amazing individuals and can’t wait to bring it a little closer to the eyes and ears of Chattanooga. The Woodshop is an intimate live music venue and neighborhood pub on the outskirts of the historic St. Elmo neighborhood. Since 2015, our goal has been to assemble and host a network of musicians and makers who are local to or traveling through the area. With our resources, they are able to create, present, or record their work in front of an appreciative audience.
