TOWSON, MD — Twin sisters from Towson hope to be fast on the buzzer as they make their debut on a popular game show. Kristin and Ciara Donegan — both Towson High School graduates — are scheduled to appear separately on "Jeopardy." Kristin, a student at Carnegie Mellon University, will appear first on the show, making her debut Tuesday night on "Jeopardy's" National College Championship hosted by Mayim Bialik. "This has been a dream of mine for so many years and I can't wait for everyone to get to watch me on stage," she posted to social media. "Please tune in to ABC on 2/15 at 8:30 EST (The episode is 8-9 but I am in the second half) to watch me on TV! For those without cable, it'll be on Hulu the next day!" The all-new tournament, which began airing last Tuesday, features 36 students from 36 colleges and universities across the country battling head-to-head for two weeks of intense competition. Her sister Ciara, who is a student at the University of Maryland, will appear on the regular "Jeopardy" in March, WMAR-TV reported. With taping already completed, she described the experience as "amazing." "I want to say it was the best day of my life honestly getting to go out there," she told the TV station. Neither sister would divulge how they fared on the show. Viewers will have to tune in to find out.
