About the speakers: Crystal Abitz has insurmountable zest for life whose energy lights up a room. Intentional living has brought her so much joy over the years, and she desires to share her experiences and tools with others. Crystal is passionate about providing the necessary resources and coaching to help others enhance the longevity of their personal and professional ambitions. Crystal founded Legacy Wellness as a reminder to herself and others that who we are and who we become is what we will leave behind—we are our legacy. Like birds, we drop our feathers—something memorable about ourselves every time we leave a conversation or interaction. Crystal helps others realize their values, priorities, and daily habits to ensure the feathers they leave behind are how they want to be remembered. Crystal is an International researcher, presenter, and educator. She earned her Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and she is nearly finished with her PhD in Human and Sports Performance. She has a love for watching the minds of others expand through inquiry and critical thinking. By continuing her education and gaining experience coaching NCAA D1 and Professional athletes, her love for teaching became clear. Through evidence-based practice, she has been able to help her students of all ages achieve high levels of academic, athletic, and professional success. It brings her much happiness to share her knowledge, skills, and experiences with others as we all embrace this journey of life. When Crystal is not writing, teaching, or reading other’s research, Crystal can be found being silly with her family.
