Here are the top three stories in Buffalo today: Restaurant owners in Buffalo and across New York State are calling on state lawmakers to make to-go alcohol sales at restaurants permanent. The state allowed restaurants to sell take-out alcohol during the height of the pandemic, with the measure ending in June 2021. Buffalo-area restaurant owners were scheduled to make their case Wednesday morning at a special event outside Osteria 166. (WKBW-TV)Buffalo residents recently reported spotting an eye-catching billboard, which simply said, "Come meet a cow! We'll pay you $5. meetacow.com." The billboard is part of an outreach program for Asha's Farm Sanctuary, located an hour away in Newfane, NY. The sanctuary is hosting an event called "Kiss a Cow Day" this June, which will include the aforementioned cows as well as live music.
