Celebrate the FIVE-YEAR anniversary of The Grove Museum opening to the public!
Grove Day 2022 celebrates the FIVE-YEAR anniversary of the opening of The Grove Museum in March 2017! Saturday, March 12, 2022, will be a day of fun for all ages!
In addition to regularly scheduled tours of the museum, offered on the hour between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, the following special programs will be offered:
Children's performance by The Runaway Biscuits, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AMBackyard Discovery: Archaeology, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (come and go)Storytelling with Misty Penton, Bio Archeologist, Muscogee/Creek Storyteller and Tradition Keeper, and Education Director of the Fred George Museum, 11:15 AM - 11:45 AMPerformance by Somethin' Sassy, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PMNature Walk, 1:30 PM - 2:15 PMFood trucks will be onsite from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, including The Frother's Daughter coffee trailer and Lofty Pursuits' ice-cream truck.
Outdoor games and activities will be available. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day. Bring your own picnic lunch, or purchase from food trucks, and enjoy the grounds in bloom. Parking is located at 902 N. Monroe St.
All Grove Day 2022 tours and programs are FREE and OPEN to the public! Tickets are not required.
