Press release from City of Fort Worth: February 16, 2022 Learn about the Open Space Strategy Report during a virtual meeting on Feb. 24. The purpose of the Open Space Conservation Program is to conserve high-quality natural areas as the city grows to provide environmental benefits and recreational opportunities that support economic development and enhance the livability and desirability of Fort Worth. In this meeting, representatives of the Trust for Public Land will discuss the Open Space Strategy Report before it goes to City Council for adoption on March 8. Discussions will center around some of the recommendations to come out of the report and the final mapping results.
