MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A man was fatally stabbed early Tuesday morning on East Hanover Street, Trenton, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. Around 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, Trenton police were dispatched to an apartment in the 200 block of East Hanover Street on the report of a man stabbed. Officers arrived on the scene and found Antwone Barnes, 37, of Trenton, with a stab wound to the chest, according to authroties. He was pronounced dead at the scene and a suspect has been detained, Onofri said. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating. Thank you for reading.
