Diesel Mechanic We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our landscaping supply yard. We have an vast array of diesel vehicles that are used at our facility and need someone with a high level of diesel mechanic knowledge who can assist and take the lead on: replacing, repairing, and routinely inspecting diesel engines. Job duties include: Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines, inspecting vehicle suspension, steering, and exhaust, along with repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts. You will also need to be able to conduct field visits in case of an emergency or sudden breakdown. Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance as well as maintain records of parts and keep an accurate inventory log of parts and tools. This is a full time employment opportunity 40+ hours weekly. Pay for this position is $50 to $55 an hour depending on experience or can be negotiated depending on experience and skill set. Requirements: Has a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Has an extensive background and work history of working with diesel engines and can provide professional references.
