Here are the top four stories today in New Orleans: Dozens of nursing home residents were finally able to return to NOLA on Monday after being displaced by Hurricane Ida over 6 months ago due to damages. (WDSU New Orleans) A 15-year-old victim was shot and killed outside a home in Marrero. The police are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact authorities. (WWLTV.com) The New Orleans DA's office has been given $2.3 million in federal grants to increase DNA testing as an avenue to solve cold cases. (NOLA.com) Five NOPD officers have received federal target letters about potential violations of criminal laws. Of the various offenses, some include car racing while on the clock and double-dipping.
