Description
Max is a sweet, loveable, healthy dog, who is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. I've been fostering to give him a break from the animal shelter. He's a big, strong boy, who can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly, if not pressured. He lived with another dog in his previous home and has gotten along with my dog. At the shelter, he was referred to as a "rockstar" and used as a greeter dog in playgroups, which means he was good at helping new shelter dogs feel comfortable. He was recently adopted but had to be returned because he was too fixated on the resident cats and chased the goats in what appeared to be a playful way. Therefore, he would do best in home without livestock or cats. He has been crate-trained and sleeps well through the night. In the house, Max is very relaxed and calm. In spite of his size, he likes to cuddle and is very affectionate. He enjoys playing with toys, going on car rides, and taking long walks with a harness, which keeps him from pulling too hard on the leash. If you are looking for a big, gentle guy to keep you company, give you lots of love, and just hang out with you, please come meet Max. For more information, please e-mail or call me at
