Description
A Fulfillment Associate performs the responsibilities of counting, stocking, assembling, pulling and packaging of stainless steel parts in order to satisfy customer orders.
Work with others, as a team, to accomplish the same goal.
Success in this position requires attention to detail and performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner. It also requires creativity in problem solving.
Handling tools and materials in a safe, and efficient manner to produce an accurate, on-time shipment to the customer.
Functions:
• These tasks utilize stock carts, forklifts, rolling ladders, hand tools, packaging tools, and related equipment.
• Read bill of materials, drawings, and technical instructions to accurately build and test simple part assemblies.
• Operate a Forklift or Pallet Jack
• Assist purchasing in daily cycle counts to keep inventory accurate.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Safely deliver parts and orders between facilities using company delivery vehicles.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
Understanding and knowledge of safety practices and rules associated with working in a warehouse.
Skill in reading and interpreting pick lists.
Use of basic hand tools to assemble simple parts.
Ability to follow procedures in sequence to stock, produce, pick, and package orders accurately.
Basic math skills to successfully count parts and assemblies.
Valid driver’s license- clean Motor Vehicle Report
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
Miscellaneous Functions:
Learn to operate tools and/or equipment.
Empty trash receptacles as needed, and place dumpsters in the appropriate spot for trash pickup.
Be alert to safety conditions in your work area, as well as other areas; and alert others to unsafe conditions as they are noticed.
