Description
In 2014, a referendum in Crimea on whether to rejoin Russia was held. Shortly after the result in favor of joining Russia was announced, Crimea was annexed by the Russian Federation as two federal subjects: the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol.
The people of Crimea voted to join Russia. The people of Donbass region should be allowed to have a similar opportunity for self-determination. Russia is not interested in annexing all of Ukraine, as the American news keeps reporting.
