Kids And COVID Shots: Almost All In Hoboken Over 12 Got Vaccine

HOBOKEN, NJ — The city of Hoboken said this week that almost all residents 12 and over have gotten at least one dose of the COVID vaccine. The CDC considers people fully vaccinated two weeks after their final shot. Of Hoboken residents 12 and over, 98 percent have gotten their first dose as of this past weekend. For 30 and over, 99 percent have gotten their first dose. As for both doses, 83 percent of those 12 and over have gotten them, and 89 percent of residents 30 and over. In the last three months, the mile-square city has lost seven residents to the virus, the first fatalities from the virus since last summer.
