COVENTRY, RI — The deadline for Coventry residents to register dog licenses is approaching. Pet owners have until April 30 to renew their license with the town clerk's office. Ahead of the deadline, the licensing clerk released the list of the most popular names of 2021. Daisy took the top spot, with 18 registered. Bella and Bailey tied for second place, each with 16. Here's a look at the rest of the list: Daisy: 18Bailey and Bella: 16Molly: 15 Luna and Buddy: 14Max: 12 Maggie: 11Licenses cost $8 per year, and renewals can be completed by mail. The application can be downloaded from the town's website. Under town ordinances, all dog owners must have a license for their dog.
