SKOKIE, IL — Police asked the public for help finding a Skokie man who was last seen walking a dog near his home Wednesday.
Myles Glasgow, 77, was reported missing after leaving his home around 12:45 P.M. to walk a dog in the 4500 block of Concord Lane, police said.
Glasgow, who has been diagnosed with dementia, was walking with a medium- to large-sized mixed-breed beagle with a blue harness, according to a missing person alert from the Skokie Police Department.
Police said Glascow, who was described as 5 feet, 6 inches and 155 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a long light brown jacket, a multi-colored knit hat, blue jeans and black leather shoes.
Anyone who sees someone matching Glasgow's description or who can offer any information to help investigators track him down was asked to call 911 immediately.
UPDATE: Skokie police said shortly before 4 p.m. that the missing man and his dog were both found safe.
