District 202 Goes Remote Thursday Based On 'Unfavorable' Forecast

PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield School District 202 officials have opted to make Thursday an e-learning day for students "in an abundance of caution based on the unfavorable forecast." Heavy snowfall will develop Thursday afternoon and continue into early Thursday evening, according to the National Weather Service. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches are possible, along with a light glaze of ice, Patch reported.
