3 year old itbull mix in need of new home

Lita is a sweet 3 year old pitbul mix who is in need of a new home by no fault of her own. Lita would do best in a home with no other dogs or small children. She ok with kids but can get snippy sometimes and can sometimes be dog aggressive. We are looking for a new home for lita becouse our current situation is just not fair to her. My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer. He has two brain tumers and is going through chemotherapy. He has started loosing the mobility on the left side of his body. So he has not been able to work as much as normal and is unable to help me with the dog as much as he used to. We have 3 young children who all of course have a bad habit of leaving toys out and lita will swallow anything while that she can pick up. She had a surgery about a year and a half ago to remove a large winter glove from her intestines and they had to remove part of her intestines as well. The vet said that she would most likely not survive another surgery. I was doing good on keeping up on things till recently but with how my husbands health currently is it’s getting difficult to keep up on by myself and I’m terrified of her swallowing something else and having to have another surgery which one we would not be able to afford and two she most likely wouldn’t survive. She has been having to spend way to much time in her cage lately and it’s not fair to keep her muzzles when she’s out of the cage. That’s no life for a dog. So my husband and I have come to the decision that it would be best for her if we were to find her a new home wheee she doesn’t run the risk of swallowing something every time she is let out of the cage. It hurts to let her go but it is what is best for her. She will come with her cage some food toys and a dish. Lease only respond if you are truly interested in giving her a forever home. Please not lita is terrified of the vet so she does have to be muzzled at the vet and sedated for any exams. She is up to date on shots. I will be extreemly picky about who she goes to.
