MURRIETA, CA —Mother Rachel Lane is grieving following her son's death this week. Aaron Lane, 17, of Lake Elsinore, died Sunday in a single-vehicle wreck that was reported at 11:39 a.m. at Briggs and Curzulla roads in Menifee. Lane was pronounced dead at the scene. Lane was the second oldest of four siblings. He was a senior at Vista Murrieta High School, and to friends and family, his loss is immeasurable. Rachel Lane's employer, Mark Cashdollar, established a fundraiser to help offset the financial burden as she navigates Aaron's sudden loss. Of Rachel, he told Patch, "she is a great person and as a single mom, we are trying to help as much as possible." Rachel Lane, with son Aaron Lane. With her son's death, the financial impact to her family will be difficult, Cashdollar wrote on the fundraising page. All donations are going to Rachel and her family, he said. "We are asking anyone who can donate toward these unexpected funeral expenses," he said. Cashdollar "We also ask that you keep Rachel and her boys in your prayers during this difficult and heartbreaking time."
