Leaflet Distributer ABOUT US Per Sir David King, Chef Scientific Advisor to the UK, “What we do in the next 3-4 years will determine the future of humanity.” (2021) Declare Emergency is a bold nonviolent campaign to save lives. The current resident of the White House must secure a liveable future for all residents - time is short! - we demand President Biden immediately hold a press conference and declare a state of climate emergency. This is where saving lives from the violence of the climate crisis begins. ABOUT THE ROLE You will be tasked to blu-tack leaflets to the front doors of urban residences. The flyer content is an invitation to a local community meeting. You will be paid per flyer stuck to door. • You will receive a rate of $10 per 100 leaflets delivered. • Payment will be made at the end of each week. • Based on existing rates of delivery, we expect you will be able to put up 70 - 180 leaflets per hour. • There will be no payment difference if this is not achieved. • You may make $7 - $18 per hour depending on speed. • Duration: Approx. 5 weeks; this role will dissolve around March 21, 2022. There is no limit to the amount of work you can do for us, it is expected that you can do at least 1 session of 3-4 hours per week minimum. An exact recording of your progress per day is required. Location: Washington DC. REQUIREMENTS You will be employed as a contractor. You are expected to: • Transport yourself to the location of the start of your route (this will be close to public transport) • Stick the leaflet on the front door with blue tac at eye height. • Record and communicate your progress • Stay within the allocated area • Work with other contractors • Have some basic knowledge of Declare Emergency You're not expected to: • Drive a car • Knock on the door • Go fast or slow • Work specific or regular hours • Provide a resume To submit your application click Apply Now.
