Hillsboro Weil Arcade Fire Now A Murder Case With Charges Added

HILLSBORO, OR — A week after the body of 40-year-old Ronald William Knapp was found in the rubble of the Weil Arcade fire, murder charges have been to the indictment of Roel Leon. Leon was already charged with arson in connection with the January 2 fire that destroyed the building. Officials say that they were able to get access to the building recently because of safety issues. After Knapp's body was found, police said that he had likely died from smoke inhalation. Leon s being held in Washington County Jail.
