Seeking female singer for a 90's cover band in DC

Meets

Washington DC

Description

We're a previously gigging 90's cover band that had a pretty good thing going before the pandemic. Now that the DMV is opening up again we're picking up the pieces and ready to melt faces (in a friendly pop music sorta way). Looking for a female singer to expand our song catalog by taking lead vocals on some songs, backup on others and harmonies throughout. Hoping to find someone with a love of music in general, but especially for the era of Alanis, Weezer, Brittany, and Backstreet. We rehearse weekly in Dupont Circle so that would be the expected commitment in addition to gigs. We're a five-piece outfit (two singers, guitar, bass and drums) ranging from early 30's to 40's, but open to all ages of course! If interested please include a sample. Doesn't have to be 90's stuff. We just want to hear what you sound like. The audition would include these songs: Alanis Morissette - You oughta know Four Non Blondes - What's Goin On Tracy Chapman - Gimmie One Reason Thanks, MB30
