Description

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Lake Erie Ink's 10th Annual Kids Comic Con will be open March 3-5. This year's event will be a hybrid experience, with virtual and in-person sessions for students. Participants can attend workshops on making their own comic books and have conversations with experienced creators and artists from around the nation. There will be more than 20 workshops throughout the event, including a virtual workshop with Nickelodeon Studios on March 3, followed by a kick-off conversation with Terri Libenson, Juan Fernandez, and Amy Schwabauer. Registration is required for the event. Participants can begin registering on Friday. The cost for in-person workshops or the Teen Afterparty is $10 separately or $15 for both. Surgical-grade masks will be required throughout in-person events. In addition to requiring masks, here are the other changes coming to Comic Con this year: No lunch or snacks will be provided. There will be no Artist Alley. Participants will remain with the workshops they registered for to prevent larger group gatherings.
