CHARLOTTE, NC — The family of slain CATS bus driver Ethan Rivera is pleading for justice and police have released new photos in their investigation to catch who shot him.
Police say Rivera was involved in a road rage incident last Friday and died from his gunshot wound a day later.
Detectives held a press conference to share photos of the vehicle they believe the suspect was driving as well as the face of the suspect himself.
They believe the suspect's car is a 2003-2005 black Honda Pilot with running boards. The backup lights on this model are the large squares on the sides of the license plate. Photographs of the suspect's actual vehicle are being included in this release as well as photographs of the suspect.
Charlotte Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect in this case.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing. As additional information develops, it will be released by the CMPD's Public Affairs Office.
