Job description: Western Enterprises is a commercial property management and development company that services business parks in Anchorage, Wasilla, and Palmer. We have been in business for nearly 50 years and take great pride in our work and stellar reputation. Western Enterprises’ construction crew works on building commercial offices and warehouses from the ground up, office renovations, as well as residential remodeling projects. These projects require experience with layout rough framing, drywall, texture, tile work, painting, finish work, bathroom, and kitchen remodels, etc. Periodically, in their slow time, the construction crew would be required to back up our commercial maintenance crew (painting, light/ballast change-outs, etc.). We are looking for an energetic remodeler who wants a long-term career opportunity. Must be eager to learn from our experienced supervisors and also able to work independently, producing the highest quality work. Must be willing to travel to any sites at any time – most work will be done in Anchorage. We do not offer any full-time positions in Wasilla or Palmer. Qualifications: · Valid Alaska Driver’s License · Your own reliable vehicle · Valid car insurance · Clean background check · Good customer service skills · Punctuality & reliability are a must · Must have your own tools This position is full time, year-round – we have no shortage of work at any point in the year. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Wages offered are starting at $25 per hour, DOE. A company vehicle will be available after the 90-day probation period (take-home for residents of Anchorage only).
