Job Description: Local Environmental/Geotechnical Drilling company is currently looking for applicants with basic mechanical skills or warehouse experience for a Shop Helper. Willing to train the right individual so previous experience not necessary. Position responsibilities include:
• keeping the shop and yard clean and organized
• parts inventory and order requirements
• tooling/toolbox checks
• cleaning of various machines and trucks
• light mechanical repairs
• Assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment and supplies
• Pick-up/drop off equipment and project supplies from freight carriers using company trucks and trailers
Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely. Must be able to follow instructions to work safely and independently with little supervision. Must have a valid Alaska driver’s license (driving record required), pass a pre-employment physical/drug test, and ability to pass a background check (necessary for access to Military installations).

Salary Range for entry level position: $15-$18 per hour DOE, with overtime possibilities (including week ends) as needed.
