Press release from Gwinnett County Public Schools: 02.15.22 Everyone has favorite books… even superintendents. To celebrate the love of reading, GCPSTV is launching a new program—Watts Your Favorite Book?— that will feature Superintendent Dr. Calvin J. Watts and other leaders reading some of their favorite stories. In this first show, Dr. Watts celebrates Black History Month in his reading of "Who Are Your People?" by Bakari Sellers. We encourage you to use this new show as a way to encourage young readers and to introduce students to a variety of books. At just under 4 minutes in length, it is perfect for inclusion in your morning news show or to share with teachers for them to incorporate into their classroom schedule.
