200 acre Co-Op Working Cattle Ranch in Buellton (near Solvang) looking for entrepreneurial rancher to help start and grow free-range pastured chicken enterprise. The purpose of our Co-Op is to regenerate land by humanely taking care of animals and providing healthy food sources. The pastured chicken business (look up Joel Salatin) involves building movable chicken tractors to get the birds the best grass possible, selecting heritage breeds that taste better (not necessarily grow faster), and providing a great life with little to no transport.
