Meet Mabel, a female doodle mix! She is a loving and playful sweetheart and she loves people. She has this amazing non-shedding, silky-soft coat of curls that blend from dark to golden blonde. Mabel weighs 37lbs and is 3.5 years old, up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She is also housebroken. Mabel is funny, athletic, smart, and affectionate! She zooms around the house when someone comes home and she's great at fetch and can catch balls in her mouth in mid-air. She loves going for walks but needs to practice not pulling on the leash. Mabel needs a family where people are home a lot. Being away sometimes is okay, but she will miss you too much if you are gone every day, all day long. She is territorial with other dogs inside her own home so she would be happy being your only dog in a 1 dog family. But if you have an easy-going, adult male dog, they could become good buddies with a little time. Another thing to know is that she has a habit of running along the fence line and barking when the neighbor's pup is outside at the same. She is an inside pup, but would love a fenced yard. Mabel is currently with a foster family in Georgetown, Texas where you can come meet her or they can meet somewhere neutral. If Mabel turns out to be the right dog for you, the adoption will be handled by the volunteers at Llano Animal Rescue. Their adoption/rehome fee is $190 which all goes to Llano Animal Rescue.
