Come join The S&C Companies! S&C National has an immediate need for general laborers to work with a large contractor on dormitory renovations at Kansas University in Lawrence. We are seeking general laborers local to the Lawrence area to work on and complete multiple projects in the area. No experience is necessary—work will consist of job site cleanup, loading/unloading of materials, other general tasks as required by the contractor. Job may require lifting of 40+ pounds. No relocation assistance or per diem is being provided so local candidates are preferred. Must haves: -Valid identification proving the right to work in the US. Examples: state/government issued photo ID, passport, social security card, birth certificate, permanent resident card, etc. -Valid driver's license and clear driving record. -Hand tools needed for carpentry and cordless impact and sawzall or hacksaw. Most large power tools will be provided but must provide your own hand tools and small cordless power tools as well. -PPE—hard hat, safety vest, glasses, gloves and steel toed boots. -A proven ability to take initiative in getting tasks completed in a team-first, company-first environment. -Valid transportation to get to your respective project, on time, every day. Frequent lateness/absences will result in termination from the project.
