German Shepherd hit by car on Grand River

If anyone has updates on the German Shepherd who got hit on Grand River near Southfield Fwy please let me know. Unknown sex, mostly black German Shepherd with a chain around his/her neck. I've seen it walking Grand River many times. Every time I tried to catch it, it has run away. I tried to feed it but it got scared and ran into the road and then disappeared into traffic. Very worried about it and looking to see if anyone found it.
