Researchers at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Medicine/Cardiology are seeking people (ages 21-89 yrs) for a 2-week long intervention study evaluating intestinal bacteria and how it may affect heart disease. To qualify you must have known coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease or risk factors for coronary artery disease including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. This involves an initial screening visit (1 hour) and 2 study visits (1-3 hours each) to our study laboratory. A stipend is available for participation. Contact Abby or Sid for more information.
