Assignments: Read the participant’s book – Teaching Biblical Faith
Take notes on ideas that seemed helpful as you read and label both chapter and page number.
Prepare a Bible study covering Luke 4:14-30. Use guide found on pages 23-25 of participant’s book.
Complete a lesson plan using your prior study of Luke 4:14-30 and prepare as if you will be leading your small group in a Bible study. For assistance use pages 93-94.
Using the Historical study approach, read and study either Luke 9:1-6, Luke 10:1-16, or Matthew 9:35-10:15 and prepare a lesson plan on one of these texts using pages 48-49 for guidance.
Using the Historical study approach, read and study either Matthew 11:2-6 or Luke 7:18-23, and complete a lesson plan on one of these texts using the “see-judge-act” approach found on pages 67-68.
