Learn more about the photography featured in the Boulder Strong exhibit from the photographer, Ross Taylor
In the summer of 2021, Ross Taylor, an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder and long-time photojournalist, approached the Museum of Boulder with an idea to make a series of portraits, highlighting the various people connected to the March 22, 2021 shooting. The Museum agreed it would be a valuable project to help preserve an imporant moment in Boulder's history. Since the first portrait made in November, the collection has grown to nearly 70 portraits.
Spend an evening with Ross Taylor, learning more about the process of making the portraits, what it was like spending time with people so connected to the tragedy, and his approach to photography.
