Since 2008, the Indiana School Health Network has assembled key stakeholders and experts in school health for our annual conference. This year’s theme of Celebrating School Health Successes is especially relevant as schools and communities continue to recover and succeed in our current COVID environment. We have created opportunities to celebrate successes of individuals, students, schools and communities with whom you work. Speaker Line-up Breakout Sessions In addition to our featured speakers, we will offer 34 breakout sessions organized by five learning tracks: Administration & School-Based Health Centers Focused on school policies and practices that relate to SBHCs and/or best practices for administrative operations related to the health and wellness of students.Health and Behavioral Health Focused on best practices relating to a specific physical or behavioral health behavior (e.g., vaping) that can be influenced by prevention, education or intervention.Outreach & Enrollment Focused on strategies to identify and enroll individuals or populations in need of health programs and/or services (including parents and families).Policy & Advocacy Focused on complying with/or implementation of existing and new school health laws, regulations, and/or mandates as well as advocacy practices for legislation that impacts school health.Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child Focused on overall health and implementation of the WSCC Model to establish greater alignment, integration, and collaboration between health and education across the school setting to improve each child’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.Visit the Indiana School Health Network website for the latest agenda and conference details.
