His Eminence, Cardinal Dolan invites those ready to receive the sacraments of initiation to celebrate the Archdiocesan Rite of Election. His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan invites those catechumens (the unbaptized) who participated in their parish Catechumenate (RCIA) process and are ready to celebrate the three sacraments of Christian initiation this coming Easter Vigil to formally celebrate the Archdiocesan Rite of Election at Saint Patrick's Cathedral.  Catechumens must be registered in advance. The deadline to register is Friday, February 18, 2022. Pews will be reserved for parish groups--pastor, RCIA coordinator, catechumen, and one godparent per catechumen. Guests are asked to sit in unreserved pews.  Parishes attending the Cathedral Rite may send a hospitality volunteer to assist at the Rite. Please note that the Parish Representative and Hospitality Volunteer should not be a Godparent/Sponsor.  Please click the green 'Register' button to register catechumens.
