The Cottage Home Neighborhood Association invites you to visit more than a dozen homes and gardens in our beautiful downtown neighborhood. The Cottage Home Neighborhood Association invites the public to visit more than a dozen homes in one of Indy's most beautiful and historic Near Eastside neighborhoods. Our neighbors proudly welcome you through their doors and gates into some of the eclectic vintage cottages, newly built modern homes, and private and community gardens. GENERAL ADMISSION Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Price: Minimum donation of $15 presale or $20 the day of the tour (Children 12 and under are free) What’s Included: Visit 15 homes and gardens in the historic Cottage Home neighborhood. This year will also feature two new additions to our tour. First, visit the History Hub to learn more about the neighborhodo and how it has changed over the last 100 years. Secondly, you'll be able to watch local artists paint our neighborhood in real time as they set up in some of the gardens throughout the tour. Beer, wine, soft drinks and light refreshments will be available for purchase in our neighborhood communtiy space at 722 N Highland Ave. during the event. This is also where tickets can be purchased the day of. POST EVENT HAPPY HOUR & ART SHOW Join us in our neighborhood communtiy space after the tour has ended for an in-formal happy hour and art show. The paintings made during the event will be on display for purchase and we'll have beer, wine, and food available for purchase. Time: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Price: No additional cost WHY DO WE TAKE DONATIONS? The tour not only draws attention to the revitalization taking place in Cottage Home, but is also the urban neighborhood’s major fundraiser for the year. Tour goers are invited to view a variety of new and old homes, selected to showcase the creativity and diverse decorating styles of our residents, as well as explore gardens, our community park and playground. Your generous donations help us in our efforts to keep our historic neighborhood beautiful. Cottage Home Neighborhood Association, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, was formed in 1984 and remains one of the city’s most active neighborhood groups. CHNA holds fundraisers such as Block Party and Home & Garden Tour to pay for neighborhood improvement and maintenance projects.
