Intro and LTC Classes may be taken separately or combined. • Intro to Handgun Safety & Marksmanship Class – includes classroom with laser training pistols & range portion of TX LTC class. • Texas License to Carry Class – includes state-mandated classroom and range portions. Intro class runs 8:00am-11:30am, starting at Bandera Riverside RV park office/classroom. LTC class runs 10:15-5:00pm, starting at Bandera Gun Club. The two classes overlap from 10:15 to 11:30. Take either class or both. We understand that this will be the very first firearms training class for many, so we go out of our way to make it a positive experience. When registering, please ensure your name is entered *exactly* as it appears on your driver's license. Please do NOT register or attend if you are sick. You will receive a full refund if you register but cannot to attend due to illness: The three-hour Introduction to Handgun Safety & Marksmanship class (8am-11am) is taught by Rangermaster-Certified Instructor Donna-Michelle Werner, and includes classroom instruction using laser training pistols, and will prepare you to pass the Texas License to Carry shooting test. The Texas LTC class (10:15am-5pm) is taught by DPS- and Rangemaster-Certified Instructor Tim Reedy, and is the course required by the state to obtain a Texas License to Carry (“LTC”). We’ll teach you the baseline fundamentals required to carry a concealed handgun legally, responsibly, and safely. After successfully completing the course, we’ll issue a Certificate of Training (LTC 100) that you can submit to the State to prove you have met the training requirement. Any caliber handgun is allowed, including .22s.
