Please bring gloves, eye protection, pruners and a hand-saw. A limited amount of tools will be available to borrow from us, and there will be pruning tools available for purchase from Spirit Pruners.
Please be sure to dress for the weather! We emphasize gloves, a hat, plenty of warm under layers and a waterproof outer layer. To help keep us all fueled and cozy, we will provide coffee, tea, and a light breakfast of fruit and bagels to everyone who attends!
Spokane Edible Tree Project is a nonprofit gleaning organization who mobilzes volunteers to gather fruit that would otherwise go to waste, empowering the community to share in the harvest of fruit and nut trees. We envision a thriving urban area where edible trees are healthy and utilized, and offer education on fruit tree care and preservation.
