Pathways to Hope for Children is hosting their 11th Annual Welcome to the Jungle Event! Join us for an interactive drive-thru family safari! Open to families with children ages 0-5 The Welcome to the Jungle event will focus on the power of Hope and will include games and prizes, an art project, Triple-P based parenting education, connection to multiple community organizations, and much more all from the comfort of your own vehicle. Free books to for the first 300 families that register. To maintain COVID-19 Regulations and to keep traffic moving, Registration will be separated into 3 different time slots. In order to ensure that we have enough supplies for all children please make sure that you select the same number of tickets as children that you are registering for. The Mission of Pathways to Hope for Children is to promote a local culture that values all children and families.  The Vision is a community where all children are valued, nurtured, protected, and therefore will reach their full potential. Targeted Strategies to Reach Our Vision and Mission: Coordinating public/private child abuse prevention efforts in Shasta County. Enhancing the range of opportunities offered to strengthen communities and families. Providing public information, education, and professional developement regarding child abuse and neglect and their prevention. Advocating for the improvement and expansion of quality services related to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Collaborating with other Child Abuse Prevention Councils, on both the local, regional, state, and national level, to achieve mutually determined objectives.
