Join Trailmothers to Clean Stoney Point Park and Climb and learn some good education about leave no trace and wet rock police Hey Community lets start Earth Month by focusing on all the illegal Dumping and Glass that plays a huge part as to why our Park still looks sad!!! To keep our good work going we will be focusing on GLASS and illegal dumped items scattered acro this beautiful historical park we alll call HOME! We are excited to host our First Clean and Climb for this growing community we call Family. This FREE Event and its the perfect opportunity to climb outside with like minded community members and to have an open conversations about the climbing community and way to keep the good vibed going and keep talking about education when it comes to Wet Rock and Leave No Trace and pracrice on being Kind to one another. Beeswraps can be used for a fire starter, compost bin and wrapping your fav sncaks for the trails and crags help #BANPLASTIC Beeswraps -Seconds We will be using the Safety Wipes to Wipe off any illegal graffiti off our trash cans, benches and signs and poles. Check out Grafftit Removals: Worlds Best Graffiti Removals Special Guest is a We will be using tools to remove any stickers to LEAVE NO TRACE AT OUR PARK, no stickers will be left behind. Time: 10am-12noon Where? Meet at Stoney Point Park Sign for Supplies and Directions and drop your name in a bucket for some giveaway prizes. What to bring: Extra Trash Bags, Gloves, Trash Sticks, things to seperate trash from the glass for glass project, extra buckets to share, we will have some supplies but please return each item back to our community so we can keep hosting stewardship events. What to wear? THIS IS AN ALL AGES EVENT TOO SO, Lets wear GREEN for EARTH MONTH Anything Bright and or NEON and it would be fun to create a sign for Earth day with any encouraging words to offer to the community who will be driving up and down topanaga canyon, we could inspire others to care about their favorite local hiking and climbing crag. We are partnering with like minded groups and Brands like : We Explore Earth Itsoverdue Madrock and more to come We are working on getting a small mini Educational Workshop with a partner that we will disclose soon here! Trailmothers is for everyone. We RESTORE, Preserve, and Protect Public Parks. We aren’t just Mother’s, we are all walks of life coming together for one main goal: To provide clean and safe nature for all! We are here to be a resource for Education, Stewardship, Restoration Projects, and Community Workshops. We are so happy you are here.
