Buxton Books is honored to welcome treasured friend and bestselling author Karen White back to Charleston on March 31 for an author talk and signing at the Unitarian Church to welcome her latest novel, The House on Royal Street, into the world! The House on Royal Street is the first book in a new spin-off series of the Charleston-set and bestselling Tradd Street series. After seven books following Melanie and Jack Trenholm around Charleston as they wrestled with unhappy spirits and their own personal relationship, they are handing over the reins to their daughter, Nola. With a new set of characters—and the reappearance of a few beloved old ones—she will continue restoring old houses and solving mysteries of deceased inhabitants in Charleston’s charming and beautiful Southern sister city of New Orleans. At this event, Karen will be giving a presentation on her new series, answering audience questions, personalizing books, and entertaining us in that never scripted, always hilarious way of hers.
