This fun and relaxed workshop will gather a small group of people who, like you, are practicing the art of modern calligraphy. We will go beyond the basics to work on capital letterforms, connecting letters to form words, and the fundamentals of modern flourishing. Please bring your own pen holder and nib. All participants will receive: three hours of instructionink and paper (pen holders and nibs will be available for purchase upon request)an instructional packet with guide sheets and exemplar sheets to take homeaccess to future feedback on your progresslight refreshments and snacksTreat yourself (and a friend) to a fun afternoon of learning to letter! $10 off each ticket when you purchase for yourself and friend. Rachel Marks is the Owner and Designer of Tallulah Ketubahs, which offers beautiful contemporary ketubahs, wedding certificates, blessings, and quotes for couples of all backgrounds. Rachel is a lifelong artist and graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art. She studied calligraphy with Master Calligrapher Carole Maurer and is a member of the Philadelphia Calligrapher's Society.
